It does take some time, and you should try making posts about specific products from Amazon. Tell your readers why they should try these products for themselves. Scan the reviews right on Amazon, and see what those people are saying. Even if you haven’t had the same experience, you can truthfully say, “some people like this product because….”

One of the oddest feelings is to recommend a product, then see from the Amazon Associate dashboard that people actually bought a competing product. But if your link got them into the site, you get the commission anyway!

To market in terms of quality rather than price, and in order to differentiate accordingly, you need to follow the standard format of the 4 P’s marketing plan. That is, Price, Product, Place and Promotion – obviously you know the main attributes of the product, and the price, but for ‘place’ you should think about the type of people who are willing to pay over 4x price of competing product – whereas the cheap option may be sold where emphasis is on cost, your product will be suited to places/distributors where the customers will be willing to pay for quality. Hi, Cool blog. I’ve been looking for work in community services for age and found just reading some stuff here really great. I’m in Australia and i guess the market here is smaller than a lot of other places. I did find one site jobcommunity.com.au which was helpful.
