Scan the reviews right on Amazon, and see what those people are saying. Even if you haven’t had the same experience, you can truthfully say, “some people like this product because….”
One of the oddest feelings is to recommend a product, then see from the Amazon Associate dashboard that people actually bought a competing product. But if your link got them into the site, you get the commission anyway!
